Description of process
The COGM/COGA collects the full proposals by the given deadline and starts processing them.
Screening the full applications for completeness
The proposals are checked for completeness according to the guidelines. If a proposal does not meet the screening criteria in the guidelines, the COGM sends the NGO a notification, explaining why the application cannot be accepted. The correspondence should be kept in one file marked “disqualified applications.”
If the application meets the REC’s screening criteria but certain information is missing, the COGM writes the NGO and requests this information. When further information about the projects arrives, it must be entered in the grants management sheet or system (GMS).
Notify the grantee
A letter/ email or other form of communication acknowledging receipt of the full proposal application should be forwarded to the applicant within two weeks after the submission deadline (see Annex XIV).
