Magdi
has served as Head of REC’s
Public Participation Programme since 1999 and manages various
projects supporting the implementation of Aarhus Convention and
the PRTR Protocol in CEE and EECCA countries and related EU directives,
resulting in guidance materials and publications.
Between 1990 and 1998, she served as REC’s
Senior Executive Associate to the Executive Director and Project
Manager.
She graduated with a University Doctoral Degree,
in 1978 from the University of Economic Sciences in Hungary (now:
Corvinus University) and received a postgraduate degree in international
economic sciences in 1977.

Natasa
Djereg is from Subotica and has a BSc in watershed management economics
and now studies for a Diploma in International Environmental Law
with UNITAR.
She is a programme coordinator for CEKOR and project
assistant with CEE Bankwatch Network, as well as a GMO campaigner
and e-list moderator.
As a manager she is highly versatile, and experienced
in investigative research and data analysis.

with the NGO sector in BIH for over 10 years
Co-operation closely with international organizations
such as COE, UN, Stability Pact in the context of the return of
BiH refugees
Currently engaged as coordinator for collaboration
between Teslic Municpality, the Republika Srpska Government and
the Italian Province Di Belluno.
Also engaged as adviser to Sarajevo-based Foundation
"MOZAIK" and is active in the realization of NGO projects
at "Futuraplus" from Teslic - in the field of ecology,
social protection and minority rights.

Between
1998 and 2008 served as Senior Project Manager, Legal Advisor, and
Field Office Coordinator for REC Banja Luka
Between 1986 and 1998 Djordje served as a legal
advisor in both the public and private sectors
Djordje has a bachelors degree in Law from the
University of Sarajevo and is currently studying for an MsC in International
Trade and EU Relations at the University of Banja Luka
Among his key achievements were mediating in negotiations
over the Framework Agreement for the Sava River basin.

Currently
serves as Field Executive for South East Europe of the World Organization
of Scout Movement, working in Belgrade.
Prior to joining the Scouts, Jordan served as project
manager for almost 8 years for REC Country Office Macedonia.
He has worked on SEE development issues since
1997, during which time he has delivered many trainings in the fields
of public participation and presentation/communication skills to
trainers and CSOs alike, as well as served as a consultant for several
international and domestic organizations.
He is the author and co-author of several publications
on public participation and community based planning, many of them
published by the REC Country Office Macedonia.

| As
Executive Director of MANS, Vanja monitors the implementation of
anticorruption legislation and policy development and spatial planning
and construction, and provides free legal aid.
She is experienced in community mobilization and
awareness raising, having led many MANS’ campaigns. She also
has extensive experience in public relations with Montenegrin and
foreign media.
She has worked with all levels of government (hosting
trainings, monitoring operations, policy development), citizens
(contributing to more than 200 public debates), and high level representatives
of international organizations and governments.
She has researched and published on corruption
in spatial planning and the construction industry; freedom of information;
transparency in privatization; and reform in fighting corruption.

| Shqipe Pantina, Executive

Shqipe
bas been working in the field of Civil Society since 2000 providing
training, consultancy and other technical support to different local
NGOs in the field of advocacy, election monitoring and policy making.
Shqipe has run her own advocacy and awareness raising
campaigns dedicated to fostering citizens’ participation in
decision making process. She has also served as experts for different
projects, providing consultancy to small and medium sized enterprises
in Kosovo
Shqipe holds an MA in European Studies from Graz
University, and BAs in Political Science and English Literature
form the University of Prishtina. She has also completed several
specialist courses in political participation in Washington DC and
the Council of Europe in Strasburg.
Shqipe has recently founded the Centre for Policy
and Advocacy, where she serves as the Executive Director. |
