Programme Methodology and Approach

  • Practical/hands-on approaches based on *active* participation and tangible results (deliverables) e.g. writing a newspaper article or scoping a lobbying campaign scenario
  • Capacity building based around applicants’ interests as indicated in their application form
  • Experience sharing through the use of local and foreign case studies
  • Role-playing/simulation, small group discussions and coaching/feedback
  • Provision of a forum for debate via the involvement of local government expertise to explain rules and procedures, and listen to related challenges and obstacles
  • Local language delivery delivered through local trainers
  • Free resource materials (of between ten-twelve pages per module) that enable self-learning
  • Guaranteed certificate of completion
  • Fulfilment of five “learning objectives” per session
  • Fostering of CSO networking by exploring collaborative opportunities beyond the Master Class series in the context of a current political concern.
