Reporting suspected fraud

Please use the form below to report instances of suspected bribery or corruption.

Bribery means:

  • offering, promising or giving a financial or other advantage to induce a person to perform a relevant function or activity improperly, or to reward them personally for doing so; or
  • requesting, agreeing to receive, or accepting a financial or other advantage personally to perform a relevant function or activity improperly, or being rewarded personally for doing so.

Corruption means the abuse of entrusted power for private gain, acts of which include: bribery, extortion, fraud, deception, collusion, entering into cartels, embezzlement, trading in influence, money laundering or other similar activities.

Please let us know if you suspect corruption involving REC staff members or affecting REC funds and assets.

The REC is unable to investigate allegations of corruption or fraud that have no impact on REC funds.

All reports of suspicious activity will be received and managed by the REC’s Integrity Committee.
