The premises of the REC's head
office are located on the floodplains of the Danube River. The following
pictures were taken during the flood of March 2002. The water level rose
to a record height, as indicated on the wall of the REC's
conference
center as well as in the town centre of Szentendre. And just
a couple of months later, in August
2002 came an even bigger flood...
