Local Environmental and Energy Action Plans for Sustainable Development, Energy Diversification and Civic Engagement in Communities in Ukraine

The U.S. Department of State’s Regional Environmental, Science & Technology, and Health (ESTH) Hub at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest, and the REC, are jointly implementing the project “Local Environmental and Energy Action Plans (LEAPs) for Sustainable Development, Energy Diversification and Civic Engagement in Communities in Ukraine”. The project brings together policy makers, officials, and business and civil society leaders to develop LEAPs in three municipalities in Ukraine. This factsheet describes the project goals and expected results, highlighting the REC's role in mobilising stakeholders and providing advice and guidance.
