During the implementation of the project “Public Environmental and Energy-Related Awareness, Education and Training Strategy in Local Communities in Ukraine”, a toolkit was developed and tailored to the needs of the partner municipalities: Poltava, Cherkasy and Ivano-Frankivsk. The guidelines and tools are designed to help local government leaders to promote an ethic of collective environmental responsibility and energy efficiency. The toolkit, which was produced in Ukrainian language only, is closely linked to the training strategy developed under the project. It provides practical guidance on communication skills; the financing of energy and environmental awareness-raising activities; and environmental education. It includes case studies and best practices from around the world, as well as conclusions and recommendations for Ukraine.
The project is implemented by the REC’s Climate Change and Clean Energy Topic Area, with funding from the Government of Japan.
This publication is only available in local language.
