Climate Park
January 2013 | Online | Website

The overall objective of the Climate Park project was to implement practical activities in the field of climate protection (afforestation, habitat restoration) on Szentendre Island in the Danube and to complement these activities with environmental education and dissemination activities in Hungary and Slovakia. The project website, which was developed in three languages (English, Hungarian and Slovak), provided information about the project, partners and activities, and also featured a project video and a carbon footprint calculator (in Hungarian and Slovakian only).

The Climate Park project was implemented with the participation of the REC’s Sustainable Resource Use topic area, with funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the support of the Hungary-Slovakia Cross-border Co-operation Programme.
