Supporting low-emission development in South East Europe
The project “Support for Low-Emission Development in South East Europe (SLED)” provides support to policy makers in Albania, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. In the framework of the project, country-level modelling of emission reduction scenarios in the electricity and residential building sectors up to 2030 were carried out; low-emission development strategies were prepared and made available to national governments; and local capacities were built regarding analytical work on energy efficiency in buildings.
The results of the project have been published in English and national languages. All 15 project publications are available on the project website, as well as on a USB stick that will be disseminated with this specially designed leaflet.
The SLED project is implemented by the REC’s Climate Change and Clean Energy Topic Area and funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation through the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
