Green Horizon – Volume 3, Number 3

Green Horizon
September 2006 | Print | Periodical

Green Horizon, the quarterly magazine of the REC, was published in printed form until 2008. Green Horizon assists the REC in its mission to promote public participation in environmental decision making by providing information on the environment and encouraging cooperation among regional stakeholders. The magazine continues to report on the cases and stories that shape the environment as Green Horizon Online (www.greenhorizon-online.com).

This issue takes a close look at transport-related developments, with three stories focusing on public transport in European capital cities, the revision of existing public transport policies, and a controversial motorway proposal in Poland. Also in this issue are articles on one Ukrainian lawyer's defence of the Danube Delta biosphere, and EU infrastructure projects in Bulgaria.
