Green Horizon – Volume 3, Number 2

Green Horizon
June 2006 | Print | Periodical

Green Horizon, the quarterly magazine of the REC, was published in printed form until 2008. Green Horizon assists the REC in its mission to promote public participation in environmental decision making by providing information on the environment and encouraging cooperation among regional stakeholders. The magazine continues to report on the cases and stories that shape the environment as Green Horizon Online (www.greenhorizon-online.com).

With flooding becoming an increasingly familiar European phenomenon, water resources management is this issue's main theme. There are also articles on over-development in the tourist industry, and on a small business incubator that is providing new opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe. This issue also contains an interview with EC Director General for the Environment Mogens Peter Carl.
