REC attends Interreg project proposal training and workshop in Prague
REC Business Development Manager Martin Petrushevski is currently attending the Interreg Central Europe Thematic Workshop and Training for Applicants — back-to-back events that are taking place in Prague, Czech Republic. The REC follows the Interreg funding mechanism closely and is participating in the workshop to facilitate the fine-tuning of several project applications planned to be submitted under this funding mechanism. Most of the forthcoming projects are focused on low carbon development and natural and cultural heritage preservation.
The main purposes are attending the workshop (which concludes on Nov. 8) are:
- to listen to practical tips and hints on how to develop a good project proposal;
- to learn how to prepare a sound budget for implementing the envisioned REC Interreg Central Europe project activities;
- to further understand how to work with the online application system; and
- to meet with other potential applicants working on similar topics.
In addition, the events will provide advanced applicants with concrete project ideas, a mix of theoretical inputs, and a broad range of thematic discussion.
The deadline for submitting applications for the Interreg projects under discussion is January 25, 2017. The REC welcomes all relevant invitations to collaborate at: BDU@rec.org.
