Within the scope of planned country visits, the SEEDLING project team visited Pristina, Kosovo*, on September 28–30, 2016. A full-day capacity-building workshop on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and their targets and interrelations was organised at the request of the Kosovan Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The main presentation was delivered by Janos Zlinszky, director of the REC's Sustainable Development Academy and senior scientific adviser to the co-chair of the UN Open Working Group for the Sustainable Development Goals. Those attending the workshop were Anila Statovci, vice minister of Education, Science and Technology of Kosovo*; Lah Nitaj, SEEDLING focal point for Kosovo*; and experts from the Institute of Curricula Development.
Later in the day, the REC team used the opportunity to discuss possible areas of institutional support and to propose project activities related to the development of a new multimedia tool within the scope of the SEEDLING project.

The project "Introducing the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Schools in South Eastern Europe" (SEEDLING) is implemented by the REC and financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The total project amount is EUR 1.534 million. Of this amount, ADA is contributing EUR 1.4 million in funding, while the remainder is a contribution from the REC.
