The International Meeting on Water Action as Key to Sustainable Development in the MENA Region is being organised by the WATER SUM project for representatives of the relevant international financing institutions and donors, representatives of the beneficiary countries, as well as other water stakeholders. 

The objectives are to:

• present the results and impacts of the WATER SUM project;
• explore opportunities and mechanisms for building on successful projects and programmes, and for fostering synergies in the water sector across the MENA region; and
• share experiences and insights on sustainable water management solutions and discuss ways to promote the planning and implementation of actions among stakeholders engaged in water-related initiatives.
