Target Groups
The Electronic Tools Task Force involves a diverse group
of experts in its activities. Representatives from various
sectors across the UNECE region contribute to its work. In
principle, the Task Force is constituted by:
- Information experts from national environment ministries;
- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) such as EcoForum
(a pan-European NGO coalition), the Regional Environmental
Center for Central and Eastern Europe and others;
- Informal observers from a global community;
- International organisations including the European Commission's
DG Environment, UNEP-Infoterra, the European Environment
Agency and UNEP-Grid Arendal.
In addition, the Task Force welcomes the participation of:
- Representatives of the information technology corporate
sector;
- European Commission Directorate General Information Society;
- Other ministries (industry, agriculture, telecommunications),
and local government associations.
