The Fourth Framework Programme on telematics applications has promoted an exploratory action on the environment. This action has demonstrated the usefulness of telematics solutions for protecting and improving the environment. At the same time the action has enhanced the role of the users in the up-take of technological solutions for an environmental friendly and sustainable Information Society.
The Target Audience The Good Practice report can assist anyone working in the environmental field where telematics can be a considerable assistance. Specifically, the report is intended to reach those with either a professional interest in the latest research or those to whom the latest telematic systems in environmental management are of importance.
