Which Option(s) Will You Pursue?
Once you have gathered information and listed all the things you could possibly do to help solve the environmental problem, you need to decide which options you will pursue to achieve your objectives. This decision is a matter of strategy. Try to list the advantages and disadvantages of each option. Consider the cost of the option; the amount of time it will involve; its potential to succeed; and how it will affect and be received by other members of the community. Will an option increase support for your cause and get other people involved? Does it make sense to pursue a variety of options at the same time instead of relying on any one option for success? Given the differences between countries and communities, different options may be appropriate for similar problems.
