This will represent the second of the three themed
sessions. Twenty participants are expected to attend this session
that will focus on Energy.
This session includes the following items:
a) The demand for energy: data and global
and regional context in CEE;
b) Energy and environment; data about GHG emissions in a regional
and global context in CEE;
c) Energy efficiency: policies and case studies;
d) Renewable energy sources: policies and case studies;
e) Research and development of energy efficiency and renewable energy
sources;
f) Marketing and funds available for the promotion of energy efficiency
and renewable energy sources;
g) Legal aspects.
