Go to full description of the project » Outline In 1988, the ministers of environment from both BiH entities agreed to establish an Environmental Steering Committee (ESC) as an inter-entity expert body entitled to facilitate cooperation. The current project supported by the Italian Trust Fund aims to: strengthen inter-entity cooperation between federal and Republika Srpska’s ministries; strengthen the status and role of the ESC; promote and ensure efficient, proactive management of resources for actions on environmental issues; Delivering timely, relevant and reliable information on the environment to policy-makers.
