Activities The Italian Trust Fund joins this effort to support institutional capacity building in Central and Eastern European (CEE) NGOs by: enhancing and developing the management capability and leadership skills of NGO members in managing non-profit organisations and projects in the environmental field; empowering NGO members with an appreciation of environmental theories and concepts; supporting NGO activists in raising their personal levels of expertise and, therefore, the institutional capabilities of their NGOs; creating and supporting an electronic communication network between environmental NGOs; and providing NGO members valuable exchange experience with the Italian NGO community.
