The current projects on sustainable transport that REC is implementing are the following: Sustainable Transport Policies in South Eastern Europe REC and Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles   The REC takes part in consortia in the following European projects: SPUTNIC, a project dedicated to strategic approaches to challenges faced by public transport systems in transition www.sputnicproejct.eu CURACAO, concerned with implementation of road user charging as a demand-management tool in urban areas www.curacaoproejct.eu CIVITAS MOBILIS, which aims to implement radical strategies for clean urban transport, building on a broad range of policies and instruments, implemented by REC Country Office Slovenia www.civitas-mobilis.org CIVITAS CATALIST - with the aim of validating, exploiting and disseminating the results of the CIVITAS Initiative and, more importantly, of stimulating new cities in the adoption of sustainable, clean and energy-efficient urban transport http://www.civitas-initiative.net/news.phtml?id=406&lan=en&read_more=1 PARAMOUNT, which supports development and promotion of the European Local Transport Service (ELTIS) www.eltis.org
