ECENA Training Programme for Environmental Inspectors and Permit Writers on Implementation of Large Combustion Plants Directive The training programme on implementation of the LCP Directive was held on June 1-5, 2005 in Ireland. The training programme focused on links between LCP and IPPC Directives, implementation of the LCP Directive in Ireland, BAT for LCP installations, permitting process, contents of the application, issuance and updates of the permits, Waste Incineration Directive. The programme was interactive, consisting of presentations, discussions and site visits in three installations. (See the agenda). The participants of the training programme came from the environmental enforcement agencies and inspectorates in Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Romania and Serbia and Montenegro.
