The
Environmental Policy Department contributes to international and national
environmental policy reform through analysis and support for the implementation
of existing policies, formulation of innovative solutions and integration
of environmental concerns into sectoral policies. It provides technical
assistance and support to regional, national, and local governments and
other environmental stakeholders in order to strengthen their institutional
capacities. The activities cover the Central Europe and other EU members,
South Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) and other regions.
