REReP
The Secretariat of the Task Force of the Regional Environmental
Reconstruction Programme for South Eastern Europe (REReP) will have soon
published two complementary volumes concerning its recent work on the
environment in the Balkans.
Environmental Reconstruction and EU approximation
in South Eastern Europe: REReP Highlights 2003-2005.
Published in June 2005, the book highlights the
achievements of the REReP’s programming during the past two years.
It also serves as a public source of information on donor contributions
for the environment throughout South Eastern Europe.
Environmental Profiles of the Countries of
South Eastern Europe: A Survey under the REReP
Due out soon, this book gives a snapshot of the environmental situation
in the countries involved in the Stabilisation and Association process.
It highlights current environmental conditions, environmental policies,
and the progress of the countries in the priority areas of REReP. Bulgaria
and Romania are also included due to the interest in their progress toward
EU accession.
