BERCEN Training Programme on IPPC Permitting for the Environmental Enforcement Agencies and Inspectorates The training programme on IPPC permitting for environmental protection agencies and inspectorates was held on March 3-6, 2004, in Prcanj, Montenegro, Serbia and Montenegro in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of the Republic of Montenegro. The training programme focused on permitting process, IPPC requirements to the operators, contents of the application, issuance and updates of the permits, scope of BAT installations. The programme was interactive, consisting of presentations, discussions and team assignments. (See the agenda). The participants of the training programme came from the environmental enforcement agencies and inspectorates in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro.
