In 2005 The Fourth BERCEN Plenary Meeting will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria on March 18, 2005. The Fifth BERCEN Training Programme for environmental enforcement agencies and inspectorates will be organised in May 2005. The exact date and location will be defined at the Fourth BERCEN Plenary Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on March 18, 2005. The main topic of the training programme will be IPPC Directive implementation. Other topics will include the VOC Solvents Directive and the Large Combustion Plants Directive.
The Fourth BERCEN Exchange Programme will take place with the participation of IMPEL member countries in October 2005. The exchange programme will cover results from IMPEL clusters, the implementation of the IPPC Directive (96/61/EC) and Seveso II Directive (96/82/EC), implementation of the Recommendation of the European Parliament and the Council of April 4, 2001 Providing Minimum Criteria for Environmental Inspections (2001/331/EC) and others. The exact location and agenda of the exchange programme will be defined later in the year. In 2004 Third BERCEN plenary meeting will be held in September 2004. Third BERCEN exchange programme will take place
with the participation of IMPEL member countries in October 2004, in Romania.
The exchange programme will cover results from IMPEL clusters, implementation
of IPPC Directive (96/61/EC) and Seveso II Directive (96/82/EC), and implementation
of the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of
4 April 2001 Providing for Minimum Criteria for Environmental Inspections
