Project Summary: The project aims to reduce nutrient pollution of the Danube basin waters of Mehedinti County. The main activities relate to: elaboration of an action plan on the nutrient water pollution at county level; organising training sessions for 40 local farmers on best practices in organic farming, and a public promotion campaign on the benefits of ecological farming and the importance of two natural protected local areas.

Project Summary: The project will promote organic farming practices in the Lower Danube Basin and will include the following activities: organising training sessions for farmers in four counties in the target region, elaborate and distribute for free a set of informative materials, broadcast a series of radio/TV shows and field monitoring of the evolution of agro-chemical waste pollution.
