  Danube Regional Project Grants





About the Danube Regional ProjectThis granting scheme, a component of the Danube Regional Project (DRP), is managed by the REC head office in cooperation with REC offices in nine Danube Countries, in addition to those in Ukraine and Moldova.

The project started in September 2004 and will last until March 2007, providing USD 1.5 million.

Programme Goal

To facilitate NGO and stakeholder action at the regional and national levels in addressing point and non-point sources of nutrient and toxic pollution in the Danube Basin.

The programme includes two rounds of region-wide cooperative granting and national-level grants in the Danube basin countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
