This call for proposals is intended to provide environmental NGOs from the Balkan region with assistance in:  Active participation in and contribution to the activities of the REReP Taskforce: With the funding available, NGOs should be able to participate in REReP Taskforce meetings, review REReP-related projects and activities and formulate NGO positions towards the REReP Taskforce.    Dissemination of a regular information base related to the environmental implications of Balkan reconstruction and the REReP, including their trans-boundary and regional implications to the wider public: through the activities financed by this proposal, a higher degree of information of environmental NGOs and the wider public on environmental issues facing the Balkan region and their possible solutions should be achieved.    Coordination of NGO activities on both the national and regional level: through more cooperation among NGOs - on a national, as well as on the regional and international level - the position and influence of NGOs should be strengthened.  Environmental NGOs are encouraged to work together and to submit joint proposals to the REC. Grants up to EUR 20,000 for a leading NGO and up to EUR 15,000 per participating partner in one proposal will be provided to NGO teams, networks, umbrella organisations alliances and so forth to contribute to the REReP. The maximum amount for one joint proposal may not exceed EUR 80,000.
