Library and Information Services
Library and Information Services (LIS) is intended to support environmental stakeholders and the public at large interested in obtaining fast, free and professional access to environmental information about Central and Eastern Europe. This is made possible through an Information Request Service, access to the REC's Library Catalogue and the directory of Environmental Information Centres, Resources and Services.

Our environmental NGO electronic networking project, focusing on the
countries of South Eastern Europe, brings together networks to share
information on-line and cooperate on addressing environmental issues.

This service is specifically tailored to help journalists from the region increase and improve their environmental reporting, but anyone can sign on, free.
Green Horizon Quarterly Magazine
Check out the REC's quarterly environmental magazine for in-depth, critical news and features about what's happening environmentally in the region, from sustainable cities to genetic engineering to climate change negotiations.
