Greening
Regional Development Programmes
(GRDP) project
We wish to invite you to our Conference
'Beyond compliance: how regions can help build a sustainable Europe'.
The conference will take place on 17 May 2007 in Budapest, Hungary.
The conference will conclude the work of the GRDP
(Greening Regional Development Programmes) partnership on the development
of a 'Toolkit for integrating the environment into regional evelopment'.
The different components of the toolkit address the issues that
confront any local, regional or national authority faced with the
challenges of balancing economic development and the environment.
Delegates will be able to learn how to use the
toolkit in practice.
Moreover, we will have a closer look at the lessons learnt from
the interregional cooperation projects. There will also be space
for discussions and sharing ideas on the follow-up of the GRDP project.
