Open Educational Resource on Environmental
Impact Assessment was co-developed by the UNU, UNEP and
the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University and
is based on the UNEP EIA Training Manual and includes video interviews
with the editor of that manual, Barry Sadler. The EIA open educational
resource will be officially launched in April 2007. These resources
are designed for students and teachers anywhere to use in their
learning and teaching programmes.

Open Educational Resource on Strategic
Environmental Assessment was developed
collaboratively by Oxford Brookes University and the UNU. It was
officially launched in February 2007. The open educational resource
includes a course module, encyclopedia (wiki) and instructional
guide and can be used freely by universities and individual learners
around the world. The course materials were authored by Prof. Riki
Therivel, an internationally recognized SEA expert. The course module
incorporates video interviews with a number of subject matter experts
including John Glasson (Oxford Brookes University), Maria Rosario
Partidario (Technical University of Lisbon) and Chris Wood (University
of Manchester).
