National Activities and Outputs

Bulgaria

• Strengthening the capacity of Bulgarian environmental authorities and SEA experts concerning the integration of biodiversity aspects in SEA procedures
  The guidelines on the “Integration of the biodiversity protection aspects in the process of Strategic Environmental Assessment” (240-KByte, 37-page PDF in English (unproofed translation); 520-KByte, 44-page PDF in Bulgarian) were developed within the project supported by the “CBBIA-IAIA Small Grants Programme” (2006)
  
  They shall assist the Bulgarian planning and environmental authorities, as well as the SEA experts in application of SEA procedures with a special focus on biodiversity protection.
