About the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC)

The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) carries out its mission through its eight theme-based programmes. The REC maintains a thorough list of its current projects online. The REC has studied the region's environment and guided its stakeholders for more than 15 years. REC experience and knowledge, gained in concert with its donors and beneficiaries alike, represent both an asset for future work and a responsibility of everyone involved. Head Office, Country Offices The REC has its head office in Szentendre, Hungary, and country offices in 17 Central and Eastern European countries.
