Within
these pages you can read the full-text of the REC's strategy paper, regarding
its future role following the expected European Union accession of eight
of its beneficiary countries in 2004. Its purpose is to stimulate further discussion
within and outside the organisation, which in turn could contribute to the
strategic development of the organisation.
The paper does not replace the
overarching REC
Strategy 2000-2005, but rather complements this in light of the
changing context of its beneficiaries.
