The REC's Conference Center
is
situated in a lovely park not far from the Danube in Szentendre,
Hungary, close to Budapest. It can
accommodate events for up to 200 participants. Conferences and other events can be carried
out in:
- the large conference hall, which has seating for up to
150 people; alternately, the
hall may be partitioned into three function rooms;
- two smaller session rooms for holding
separate meetings simultaneously;
- a banquet
hall that can hold up to 200 persons; and
- the park surrounding the building for outdoor
receptions during pleasant weather.

style, or divided into three function rooms

- Banquet hall, accommodates up to 200
people
- Foyer for receptions
- Air-conditioned

- Audio system throughout the whole building,
centralised sound control
- VCR projector with screen
- CD player
- Video and TV
- Computer equipment including PCs and
printer for Windows 95, Office, Multi Media software, or
any other choice
- Direct Internet access
- Overhead and slide projectors
- Flip-charts, including stationary
- Simultaneous translation equipment and
booths for up to three languages

About
the Location
The conference
center is located in Szentendre, Hungary. Szentendre
is a picturesque little town close to Budapest built on the
banks of the Danube, famous throughout Europe for its multiple
attractions. A settlement of medieval origin, it has a rich
collection of historical buildings and retains a Mediterranean
flavour, featuring quaint cobblestone streets, handicraft markets,
a wealth of museums and galleries and, of course, the famous Hungarian
cuisine.
