NGO Directory of Central Eastern Europe (2006)

This Environmental Non-Governmental Organisations (ENGO) Directory is designed to help anyone seeking information about environmental organizations working in Central and East European (CEE) countries. The countries covered involved are: Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The database contains contact information for over 800 organizations. It was researched in 2006-2007 through a common project of the NGO Support Programme of the REC and the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with support from the United States National Science Foundation. In addition to this on-line directory the findings have been used to make an analysis of the status of ENGOs in the region.
